Francesco Mezzanotte is research associate in Private Law at the University of Roma Tre, where he co-teaches Economic Analysis of Law in the English-courses programme “Studying Law at Roma Tre”.

  • He graduated in the Law Faculty of the University of Roma Tre in 2006 (cum laude) and holds a Master Phil. (2008) and a Ph.D. (2011) in Law and Economics from the University of Siena.
  • He has conducted researches at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition of Munich, and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law of Hamburg; and he has taught as Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad Law Center and at the Bocconi University in Milan (2016-2018).
  • He has published a monograph and articles in Italian and International journals; is member of the editorial board of several Italian legal journals and has presented papers and reports in conferences held in Italy and abroad.
  • His main interests of research are in European Private Law, with particular focus on the field of Property and Intellectual Property Law.
