Born in Rome in 1986, Marco Pittiruti graduated in Law with a grade of 110/110 cum laude in March 2011 at the Università degli Studi “Roma Tre”, discussing a thesis in Criminal Procedure Law on digital evidence. Since then, he has been actively collaborating with the University's Courses of Criminal Procedural Law.
In 2013 he qualified as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Rome.
In 2015 he obtained the title of PhD in Sistemi puntivi e garanzie costituzionali - Criminal Procedural Law area" at the International Doctoral School “Tullio Ascarelli” of the Università degli Studi “Roma Tre”, discussing a thesis on digital investigations.
Since 2017 he has been a lecturer at the Scuola di Specializzazione per le Professioni Legali of both Università di Teramo and Università degli Studi “Roma Tre”.
Since 2018 he has been teaching Criminal Procedural Law at the Università di Teramo (Avezzano campus). Since 2021, he has been teaching Indagini atipiche e prova digitale at the same University.
From 2019 until 2022 he has been Researcher of Criminal Procedural Law at the Università degli Studi “Roma Tre”. He currently teaches Indagini informatiche e Digital Evidence and Scientific Evidence and the Criminal Trial at the same University.
