Dott.ssa Laura Di Gianfrancesco

Laura Di Gianfrancesco is a Post-Doc Research Fellow at the Roma Tre Law Department, where she is also adjunct professor of the International Protection of Human Rights Legal Clinic (a.a. 2022/2023). She earned her PhD in International Law with honours in 2022 at the Roma Tre Law Department, in joint-supervision with the University of Luxembourg, Department of Law, Economics and Finance, with a dissertation on the interpretation of UN Security Council resolutions. Her current research project focuses on the development of methodological standards for clinical legal education in the field of international humanitarian law. 
She is also teaching assistant of the “International Humanitarian Law Legal Clinic” and the course “Advanced International Law”, where she has been coaching students representing the University of Roma Tre at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition since 2019. Since 2022, she is also teaching assistant of the post-graduate training course for the diplomatic career at LUISS Guido Carli, School of Government.  
She is currently part of the Erasmus+ project “International Humanitarian Law Research Education and Dissemination Programme (IHL RED)’ and has been part of the Jean Monnet project “Disseminating Disaster Law for Europe”. 
Her research interests focus on international humanitarian law, international human rights law and migration, international criminal law, the UN Security Council, legal interpretation and clinical legal education.
