Course
European Environmental Law 2022
Dott.ssa Morgan Eleonor Harris
The course offers a thorough overview of EU environmental law, covering the basic framework and principles as well as the evolving substantive law, at a time when environmental law in Member States is becoming ever less 'national' and EU regulation is growing in scope and importance. The course will cover various topics related to environmental regulation in the EU, including the creation, implementation and enforcement of environmental regulations, the process of environmental impact assessment and environmental liability. It intends also to offer in-depth analysis of the substantive law in key areas, including waste, nature conservation, air pollution, water quality protection, chemical substances, genetically modified organisms and climate change.
